Introduction
In 2016, Microsoft introduced new capabilities in SharePoint Online team sites including integration with Office 365 groups. The users can experience modern UI with the lists, libraries, Web parts and while editing the page in the team sites. Please read this article for more information.
Document Webpart
Navigate to Office 365 SharePoint team site - https://c986.sharepoint.com/sites/VijaiAnand/.
Click Settings icon and subsequently click Add a page.
Enter the page name and click + icon. Click Document.
Click Upload document and then select the document from your desktop. Click Add document.
The document is added to the page. On the right bottom of the Webpart, you will see an option for Full screen and the additional features.
Edit the Webpart and you will see Webpart properties toolpane on the right side of the page. If required, select the start page for the document.
Click Publish.
Result
Document Webpart is added to the page and published, as shown below.
