The DotNetDave Rock The World Tour Is Coming To India!

On April 7th, I will be landing in India for the first time, bringing my conference sessions for Indian developers at the C# Corner Conference. I’ve been wanting to come to India to learn about it, its culture, and its people ever since I saw teams on the American television show The Amazing Race in India. I’ve been wanting to learn even more about Indian developers ever since I worked with some in America (San Diego, California), temporarily as part of work with my last full-time job. Some of my conference sessions were shaped in part of working with and interviewing those developers. Needless to say, I am very excited.

For several years now, the theme for all of my conference talks has been “Improving Code Quality… One Developer At A Time”. Except my technical interview session, all my sessions revolve around this concept. I’ve been a software developer for over 20 years and a Microsoft MVP for over 10 years; and my goal is to concentrate what I know into sessions to help others.

If you are attending the conference, and you should, I hope you will find me there if you would like to chat about software engineering or maybe two of my other big passions, photography (I’m an award-winning photographer) and music (I’m a guitarist).

Speaking of being a guitarist, two years ago, I started playing guitar before some of my conference sessions. I did this in Ukraine and they enjoyed it very much! But at this conference, I need your help. If you live local and have an electric guitar and amplifier that I could borrow, I will rock out before my “Rock Your .NET Core Best Practices” session (following the keynote). Please leave a comment if you can help.

I won’t be in the country very long, so besides the conference, what things or places should I not miss? What should I not forget to bring on my trip? What should I buy while I’m there? I already love Indian food and clothing!

I hope to hear from you before, during, and after my trip. Just leave a comment below. Get ready to rock your code… See you soon!
