Add-in : menu item doesn't aapeared in menu after install

Question

I have a trouble to install new Add-In in .Net . I used a Add-In Wizard to create it , and option "Create 'Tools' menu item " was choosed . After install the menu item doesn't appeared , but it was added to Available Add-in's... Can somebody help me with this , please ?

Thanks  i have tried this option  but it's doesn't help . I can only add it to menu with Customize option in Tools menu...Very frustrating...

I've had similar problem. It seems to work and then it doesn't show up there. The problem for me was that for some reason connectMode == Extensibility.ext_ConnectMode.ext_cm_UISetup in OnConnection was never true. I added an option for connectMode == Extensibility.ext_ConnectMode.ext_cm_Startup and it works fine. So try changing at the top of OnConnection: if(connectMode == Extensibility.ext_ConnectMode.ext_cm_UISetup) to if(connectMode == Extensibility.ext_ConnectMode.ext_cm_UISetup || connectMode == Extensibility.ext_ConnectMode.ext_cm_Startup)
