Alternative of Reportsource in CrystalReport to avoid longtime processing

Question

Hello  Why crystalreportViewer.ReportSource = objReport line takes too much time for huge data ? Even it take long time sometime for little data . I wait for more than hour but it is not displaying data. Is there any other option which can exclude this statement ? My Query takes few seconds so there is no issue of SQL optimization. But when we check with debugging  it takes long time to display report even all lines executes in coding. Plz help me . Thanks in Advance Regards Yogesh

Hello Amit I have taken 1 dataset . & Created Datatable in it as per requirement of report. Generally for eact report i am using max 2 datatable. Datatable is filled in 5-8 seconds for 50000 records. But crystal Report takes too much time for dislplaying pages. also for test i hv removed Page N of M etc long time taking fields. Thanks in Advance. Regards Yogesh

Are you using report model as Report data source?? if yes then you have to optimize in there...
