respected sir Is it possible to read barcode data in background while scanning so that user can access other application on same machine with c#.net. Regards Upendra patel.

Have you tried the Twain scanner that kaiven mentioned to you? I wonder whether it is helpful to the barcode scanning work?

I also recommend Twain scanning in VB.NET which supports duplex scanning for both front and back of pages..

Do you mean you want an application to scan an image and after scanning it will automatically read the barcode of the scanned image? If this is what you need you can acquire the image using Twain put it in a bitmap and then pass it to a barcode engine to recognize the code inside it (if any).
