C# and OCR

How can I pass highlights image area to Microsoft Office Document Imaging (OCR) and get text output as a result? Or there is any alternative method to recognize the characters and numbers in image?

The best program I have come across is the free trial of RE .NET OCR Recognition Library . Guess it may work for you C# application: OCR text from scanned image-based document files & modify text and images within the scanned document files
