C# dictionary with multiple values

Question

I am using a C# dictionary. Dictionary d = new Dictionary (); I am using the dictionary as then I can have the key value be unique and is enforced by the Dictionary. The key value will be int. Before I had the need of only one value. Now things have expanded to where I need to store multiple values(with different data types) for the same key. Something like this - (although it will not work): Dictionary d = new Dictionary (); Note that stringstringbool boolintbool are additional values I like to store for the key field which will be an int. I am not sure how I would go about doing this. How can I get a key value to store multiple values with different data types. On Way that I see that this may be possible is to store the additional fields into a List but not sure how it will all come togehter. If somebody can provide and example that would be appreciated. One way to proceed would be to create a custom class on these lines: public class Record { public string Value1 {get; set;} public string Value2 {get; set;} public bool Value3 {get; set;} public bool Value4 {get; set;} public int Value5 {get; set;} public string Value6 {get; set;} public Record(string v1 string v2 bool v3 bool v4 int v5 string v6) { Value1 = v1; Value2 = v2; Value3 = v3; Value4 = v4; Value5 = v5; Value6 = v6; } public override string ToString() { return Value1 +   + Value2 +   + Value3.ToString() +   + Value4.ToString() +   + Value5.ToString() +   + Value6; } } You could then do: Dictionary d = new Dictionary (); and add Record objects to this with an int key.

The second argument (i.e. the value) needs to be a Record object rather than an int. Also the first argument (i.e. the key) must be a unique int. For example: Dictionary d = new Dictionary (); d.Add(1 new Record(a b true true 1 c)); d.Add(2 new Record(d e false false 2 f));

Vulpes how to pass values for this Dictionary d = new Dictionary (); d.add(11) d.add(12) i write like this but i am getting error so can u rectify please

After learning the use of classes in the manner that Vulpes shows there will be much more that you can do. It is a critical and very useful concept.
