calendar control value should be null

I'm using a Calendar control in a formview and having problems only when no date is selectedin sql one default date is comming.this field is not a mandortary fieldwhen we select date then only value want to come otherwise we want null vale. How can i fix this issue.

Hi because of using calender control it giving default value like 01-01-1900. just change the default value : like if(yourvar == 01-01-1900) { --- //your logic datetime dt=  ;// whatever you want --- }
