Can't view .aspx file in browser

Question

Hi I purchased a linux hosting in bigrock and I copied all the asp.project files in that public_html folder in the file manager. When I'm trying to open the site it is showing only the code in the page when i accessed it like this www.domain.com/index.aspx when i accessed like this www.domian.com it is showing Forbidden error 403 you do not have permission to access this / directory. Please help me with hosting .aspx site in bigrock linux hosting service.

You should have windows hosting for your .Net Framework project or website. But if you want to hosting in Linux environment then you must use Mono because Mono is works like as convertor compile the all .Net website pages. Then you site will be show on their domain.

You can't host ASP.Net in Linux. You need to buy Windows hosting in this case. Also Microsoft recently released ASP.Net Core 1.0 which provides cross platform support. Normal web applications developed in ASP.Net (2.03.54.04.5 etc) won't run with Linux.
