Changing SqlDatasource select command in codebehind

Question

Dear all,

I got a gridview datasource sqldatasource with select command.Just i want to change the select command text with a date selected from a datetime picker..or  a date selected from a dropdownlist.i tried to change the sqlcommand text in code behind but paging became problem.How can i do this...
