Closing current tab only on buttn click

Question

I have a link button. on click of link button a new tab opens and displays the content i want to. the new tab has a cancel button. i want that on click of cancel button this current tab should close only and not the whole browser. how can i do this on button click.

You can close the tab using javascript close() function. In case of link that would be: close Zoran

Button1.Attributes.Add(onclick javascript:window.close();); this is working for me on !ispostback thanks for suggestions
