Hi You have to change the event handler code for button1_click the following way: private void button1_Click(object sender System.EventArgs e) { CustomerDialog myCustomerDialog = new CustomerDialog(this); if (myCustomerDialog.ShowDialog() == DialogResult.OK) { ShowCustomerName(myCustomerDialog); } } Create CustomerDialog with the overloaded constructor and pass the parent form.
