c++ version programming for windows filteratio platfom

Question

Microsoft introduced a new technology to replace LSP NDIS called WFP from https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg156122.aspx. Am writting an applicatio based on Windows Filtering Platform in visual studio 2017 for DNS interception and redirection. Since Windows Filtering Platform is based on c++. My question is this which version of c++ should i target for my c++ syntax. Knowingly fully well that c++11 sysntax is different from c++2003 syntax. Your response is needed Thank you
