Crystal Report .NET 2008 - Setting Paper Size
Hi all
We developed .NET Windows application.
a) In Crystal
Reports - When Paper size for the Report is kept as Letter , A4, A3,
Legal - It is shown properly in the Selected Printer before actual
print. Orinentation i.e Portrait /Landscape is also shown properly in
the Laser as well as Dot Matrix Printers.
We have problem with
Crystal Reports as under :-

b) When Report -> Printer
property is set to Dot Matrix Printer and Paper Size selected is Fan
Fold 8.5 x 12 Inch , it is shown as Letter in the Printer Properties
before actual print. If we set the paper size to A4, Legal etc. even in
Dot Matrix Printer say Epson FX 1050+ (any epson compatible) , it is
shown correctly.
Fanfold 8.5 x 12 Inch is the normal available
size with Dot Matrix Printers. For actual printing we first need to go
to Printer Proper Properties ->Set the paper size to Fanfold 8.5 x 12
Inch and then Print which becomes inconvenient as every time, we need
to set the Top of the Page
Your expert guidance is needed to set
the Paper Size Fanfold 8.5 x 12 Inch on the Dot Matrix Pritner. We are
fully able to capture the Paper size from the Crystal Report Object but
we are not able to set the required paper size in the Printer Properties
using Crystal Report Viewer Object and using Framework 2.0 classes
