Customizing the Crystal Report at run time

Question

Dear all I need the solution for my problem. I have two forms in c#.net windows application. One form contains crystal report viewer and the another form contains Customizing forms. the Customizing form contains Report Title Text boxReport Sub title Text box. Whatever i am going to change this form they should be updated in report viewer. Example The Report viewer contains Report Title Parameter. The Customizing form contains Report Title Text Box. Suppose i am going to enter Test in the Text box then press OK button the Report viewer form Title Should be change in Test. Kindly help me to solve this problem

I think it could be leveraged throug parameters You can create then pass value to the given parameter oReportDocument.SetParameterValue(ParameterName DateValue); take a look on the crystal report articles section there are a lot of them speaking about how to deal with pramameter but in my point of vue it is worth to define this from the crystal report itself using crystal syntax as it is simple solution and you have a lot of wizard those could help you a lot

hi thanks for your kind information. it is very useful to me. i need another clarification. 1. I bind the record in crystal reports through data set in c#.net windows application. in that some data values are 0 and some negative numbers. I want to suppress 0 values at run time through C#.net coding and the negative values should be in []. eg [-9000]. i want to customize these through .net coding. give some idea about that
