data bind to panel or container

Question

How to bind data from database to popup window. 

And panel will show in the button_click event.

 

What I am doing is :

I am uploading files like txt,pdf,docx to database. and showing it in gridview. and in the gridview there is only a name of file and a link button which will show the file inside the asp panel, container or any other pop up or modal..
