data storing without using DB...possible!!?

i am doing my academic project in C#.net. in my project i need to maintain the log for my desktop application where i will be having time enabling options in the form of checkboxes. how can i have the log when my application is enabled or disabled ? no way?? other than using database?

You could save the data to an xml file. Using Linq to Xml makes this really easy. If you need an example I can show you...

what type of data u need to store u can use and embedded database or write it to a text or excel files or can even log it in log files what actually u need to do with the data. Thanks Lisa
