datagrid problems

Question

hi all. Can someone help me with this? I have a Datagrid, and i would like to doubkle click on a cell and open another form sending all the fields in that cell to the form for future work, how can i do this? Another thing, if i make the datagrid too large and i show only a few fields there's some space left at right, how can i make the datagrid complete automaticly stretch? Thanks.

Here is some code I used to 'autofit' the columns in a datagrid datagrid = new DataGrid(); datagrid.Width = this.drawsurface.Width; datagrid.Height = this.drawsurface.Height; datagrid.Location = new Point(00); datagrid.CaptionText = this.captiontext; if(this.captiontext.Length < 1) datagrid.CaptionVisible = false; datagrid.DataSource = dTable; datagrid.PreferredColumnWidth = (int)((this.drawsurface.Width - 35) / dTable.Columns.Count); datagrid.PreferredRowHeight = (int)((this.drawsurface.Height - 130) / (dTable.Rows.Count)); As far as your other question is concerned if you are following good Object Oriented programming style you should just send a class containing the data you want to reuse later in your application to the new form. good luck! -James
