Date format in RDLC report viewer changes while printing

Question

in my .net desktop application there is a report and while viewing report it shows dd/MMM/yy. But when i click print i am getting the printout as mm/dd/yy. How can i print it exactly like the system short date settings?? my text box expression is =FormatDateTime(Fields!RegDate.ValueDateFormat.GeneralDate) Please help..

Hi You can format dates and numbers within a string with the Format function. See this example : =Format(Parameters!StartDate.Value D) In your case : =Format(Fields!RegDate.Value dd/MMM/yy)

Try this : =Format(Fields!RegDate.Valuedd MMM yyyy)
