Desktop application working fine in XP but not in windows 7

Question

Hi everybody I got a problem with application. I have deployed my application and I got .MSi. I have installed it in Xp and it is working fine. But when I install it in windows7 it is showing some errors like: Unhanded Exception has occurred in your application if you click Continue the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue .if you click quit the application will close immediately Syntax error(Missing Operator) in query expression 8522 How can I resolve it? What could be the issue? Now I am Uploading my .msi File also which will working on XP but not in Windows7

Developers don't want to bother with the ugly details of checking for errors but then when an error such as the one you have encountered occurs they hope there is an easy solution. It is likely that you need to enhance your application so that it caches errors that it is currently ignoring. When you get a message such as  Syntax error(Missing Operator) in query expression  then the first thing to do is to look at the query expression. If you don't now what the query expression is then that is a good example of what to enhance your program to do.

If you are sure the problem is with Windows 7 then run the windows update. This will install necessary updates for .Net Frameworks. Else then the problem with your sql statement.

Is the error happening on install or after installing and executing? Do you have any database query running in the startup?
