Do I have Access DB installed in order to run application ? help

Question

Hi  I want to develop an application that uses ODBC to connect MS Access file . Do I have office installed on my computer ? My role is to spread the application  but I don't want to force the clients to install any kind of database. Actually  it doesn't have to be Access . Any kind of solution can be examine . please tell me what you think . thanks  uri

thanks  for yur help . where can I find MDAC  what is it ? driver ? How can I figure out if it is installed on the client computer thanks.

Hi it is reagrding your Windows version if you use 2000 or Xp than no but it may ask you to install MDAC
