fetching data from DB to webservice ? error ?

Hi

still my last question was un-answered which is near same :)

I Created a web-service with connection string (sql), web methods etc . . . I tried to create a web-form on same website The application is working fine but when i tried to access the same web-service from other website to retrieve data ?? its not functioning right ///

check my attachment and resolve this simple issue :(

since you are postbacking the page eveyrtime therefore it is resetting the value to 0. you need to use hiddenfiled instead of global variable. declare initial value in the hidden filed. so when you click next button read the value from hidden filed then check condition increment it and then assign back to hidden field Regards Iftikar

yes mate just done as u said .. got my problem but need ur help :) The problem is rno initially i given as zero right .. after initial loop the rno is resetting itself to zero e.e its going on like this . Thing i don't understand is why is it going to int rno=0; for each of my next button click ?? any suggestions mate .. i declared rno globally to zero :)

it should work button2 click is for next. So initially the value of rno is 0. Therefore your previous condition does not satisfy the if condition. hence it will not go inside if loop. Put the break point and check. Regards Iftikar

Nothing changes friend .. i think the code u just mentioned is same as the code in my attachment just ;0 i corrected my self the same thing u mentioned just now :) ufff code is clear but still problem co-exists dam ... i hate such minor bugs .. goshh

No error mate :( in my code there is  rno  which is used for dynamic fetching of row data . thing here is when i click on next button its fetching next row but its not going further mate .. But my table consists of 6 records .. y its not gng further . . i checked bit by bit everything looks good . Once please you too just look at the code where i consuming webservice under next & previous buttons ty for reply mate :)
