First() and Last() functions doesn't work in Microsoft Access 2007,wherever in Access 97 it is working.

Hi,

I have a problem with MS Access 2007. Everytime user update/select records it doesn't showing first and last records in consistent manner. First() and Last() functions doesn't work in Microsoft Access 2007,wherever in Access 97 it is working. What will be solution for this to find out first and last record in Access 2007.This is very critical to my current project and i don't have any idea how to fix this issue.Challaning for me.Anyone is there who can bet it?
