Getting Issue in IIS Server

Question

Hello I need to Host Remote Server folder(Images folder) in IIS. Currently I have hosted Images folder in IIS  All images view in IIS Content View. When I am Browse 1 image through IIS Getting Web.config Error. Remote server and IIS server are on same network but not in same domain. Both Administrator user same and password same.

Folder contains only images nothing else. Folder located on remote location.\ServerName through this folder and content is available. Below is error:

Http Error 500.19- Internal Error The requested page cannot be accessed beacause the related configuration data for the page is invalid.

To resolve your issue: 1. Make sure that your website refers to proper Application pool through IIS Admin tool(you can view through inetmgr command in run window) 2. Make sure web.config is properly configured. There shouldn't be any mismatch tag. 3. Make sure that web.config has permission to read it. 4. Make sure that web.config is present in Project root folder.
