generating popup after duration of time

Question

Hi i have created the loin page with storing in database user id and passwordalso generated the change password page .i want to generate popup before expiring the password .there should be message like in 2 days your password is expired please change your password. how can i do that i do not have any date time in database that when i have changed last time my password. Please give the solution with code. Thanks Vibhakar singh

Vibhakar You already have the answer :)  how can i do that i do not have any date time in database that when i have changed last time my password?  See there's absolutely no magic happens behind the scene in programming. They're completely Logic. You can not check how many days are remaining the password should be modified. So in first place you need to create a column in your DB where you'll store the password creation/change/modified date and on every User Login or any other logic you can check the number of days remaining to change the password. This is how in my opinion should be the logic to go with. Now you just need to code them. Good luck !! Happy Coding :)
