Hard disk space problem

Question

Hi all I have one problem of my computer. My Hard disk size is 40 Gb. Programfile  windows  document and setting and my data size are 15 GB. but my hard disk space is full  I don't understood how my hard disk space is full. I have remove all temp file remove unused file in registry  scan computer with antivirus software. Any one please help me. Thanks Jitendra Patel

you maybe has big pagefile or hibernate file.. or you havent empty your recycle bin.. if none of that than maybe something is wrong with your hdd.. bad sectors or something like that.. you should show hidden files and folder and show system files and folders so you can check pageFile and hibernet file... so in windows explorer from menu tools -> folder options tab-view select show hidden files and foders and UNCheck hide protected operating system files(recomended) and you will see many new files.. don't delete any of them unless you know what are you doing.. because your system may not boot.. this is some basic stuf.. so if you have some experience hothing i said is not important... but if you don't (DON'T DELETE THE FILES THAT APAIR when you select that options) sorry for my english
