Have you ever forgot password of SQL Server

Question

I was working in an organization and I just received a call from my old friend. He told me about a password related issue he faced in his organization. He forgot SQL Server SA password and cannot connect to or login to their SQL Server. He was not able to recall the new password. I am totally sure that he is not the first person who has faced this issue. There are many situations which are probably related to it where employees who have system administrator password leave the job or a hacker disables the SA account.

Yes the step which you have taken is absolutely right. Frankly speaking I was also become a victim of this problem last to last month and I was very upset.
