how can we use datatable for insert multiple row

Hello sir/mam i want to help from you.i am working in asp.net c# and sql server Suppose I have 3 columns in database and i want to insert multiple row in database on click If i have 5 textbox mean 5 row will be insert.Please help i will wait your answer

Hello @Monu i m sending you a demo of stored procedure. You can use following stored procedure. CREATE PROC Insert_Value(@String [nvarchar](max)) AS BEGIN DECLARE @StartIndex INT @EndIndex INT SET @StartIndex = 1 IF SUBSTRING(@String LEN(@String) - 1 LEN(@String)) '' BEGIN SET @String = @String + '' END WHILE CHARINDEX('' @String) > 0 BEGIN SET @EndIndex = CHARINDEX('' @String) INSERT INTO TabExam(Col) SELECT SUBSTRING(@String @StartIndex @EndIndex - 1) SET @String = SUBSTRING(@String @EndIndex + 1 LEN(@String)) END END in this Stored procedure send your value of textbox that are separated by comma like: 'ABCDE' When i execute this stored procedure it insert 5 rows. when you pass this string in stored procedure it will insert 5 rows in table. If you your string is 'ABc' then it will insert 3 rows. here i am using only one column but you can use 3 column similar as single column...........

Hello @Monu for this you can use Stored procedure . in this stored procedure you can send value of five textbox as a single string . Separate the value by Comma or space or using any other special character. after that in stored procedure split all these value and insert into table....... I think this is best approach for your requirement
