How to backup Outlook for Mac database on an FTP server ?

Hello I am looking for a solution to backup Outlook for mac email database on my FTP server. I have tried time machine backup but I am not able to figure out how to take the backup files on the FTP server. So I am looking for an alternative for Time Machine as its a bit complicated and also time consuming. Thanks

You have a couple of options. You can use SuperDuper or Carbon Copy Cloner to back up your files. It is best to use a separate drive from your start up drive for the storage of your backed up files. Nother application that is brilliant in email backup for mac is Mail Backup X (http://www.mailbackupx.com/) . This application also provides backup on ftp server.
