how to check many textbox is empty

hi all

in my project i have 100 textbox i want to check the every text-box is empty or not

my problem is can i write a short code to check the every textbox is empty or not

my code is so lengthy becoz i check every textbox in if condition

please help me

Hi Should approach with JS as You are validating data type. You may have more number of controls and looping through each may time consuming from server side comare to client side. It will realize once you have more sessions oened to ur application. So you decided to do validation through JavaScrit. Below is one sample. Call this before any postback. I used a regular expression for validating the numeric entry. r u creating that textboxes runtime or its fixed if u r creating it in runtime then with single for loop it would be checked

my application is web based and somthing 200 textbox in the web form how to check the every textbox is empty and enter value is numeric how to use the control collection pleas help me........ thanks

Are you familiar with the Controls collection? Are you familiar with casting a Control object to an instance of the Control that the control is such as casting a Control to a TextBox?
