How to close/Kill the already opened Main winform in C#

Question

Hi I need to Close / Kill the already opened Main Winform application through C# coding and will sopport all the operatingg system (Win 7 32 & 64 bit Vista 32 & 64 Bit etc). I already tried the below code but some times it didn't work in XP. And rest OS this is not working. I don't understand why you're (apparently) trying to close the current WF application using the Process class. All you need to do would be one of the following: 1. Close the startup form. 2. Call Application.Exit() from anywhere in the application 3. Call Environment.Exit(1) The third of these which kills the process stone dead would normally only be needed if there were foreground threads (other than the main UI thread) still running which were preventing the application from closing normally.
