How to create Insert Script Of a single row of a table SQL

Question

How to create Insert Script Of a single row which is exist in the table?

-In Task->Generate Script : we can Generates all rows script and not single row

-In Import/Export : it is possible to directly copy the single/ all row data and not to generate script

Anyone having a solution please reply

As per your requirement you can use SSMS Toolpack plugin to generate insert script from table. But SqlServer 2012 onwards you need to buy it. The work around is to write manual script to generate insert statement. Follow below sql query where you can define your condition to fetch records and generate INSERT statements: select 'insert into User(UserId Username) values(' + convert(nvarchar(36) UserId) + '' '' + convert(nvarchar(36) Username) + '' ')' from [User] where UserId = '249878A6-C6EC-4D9A-9933-A601B859EB6B'

This Option is to filter Source Table Rows... Not to generate Insert Script.. I want to generate a script like 'Insert into table name values()....'

Well actually you can try like this as follows If you are using the SQL Management Studio you can right click your DB name and select Tasks > Import/Export data and follow the wizard. one of the steps is called Specify Table Copy or Query where there is an option to write a query to specify the data to transfer so you can simply specify the following query: select * from [ Table ] where ID = 1

In Import/Export : Right click on database -> Task -> Export Data -> In Next window -> Write a query to specify to data transfer.. Write SQL query to fetch only one row from database.

I think there is no option to take a single row script yoo can take full table insert script then from the script you can delete all other insert statement
