How to export Mac Thunderbird Databse to Windows Outlook?

Question

What is the simplest solution available to transfer Mac Thunderbird database to Windows Outlook 2010. I have years worth of emails that I want to transfer to Windows outlook 2010. I need a solution that can transfer all these emails from mac to outlook 2010. Also I want to preserve the folder hierarchy some methods that I have tried does not support this feature and also do not migrate all the data. Please suggest me some way to transfer all the data from Mac Thunderbird to OUtlook 2010 that will also preserve my folder structure and aso the data inside the emails. Helpful answers will be really appreciated.

Your best solution can be to transfer with the help of Imap Account. Login all your details in Outlook of your account give it some time and your emails will sync automatically. I know this will be a tiring task and may require hours to sync the emails if you have got years worth of emails. Other way around is to use third party tools as recommended in above posts. The easiest way to go would be to move the emails to an IMAP account which offers lots of space such as an Outlook.com or Gmail account. You can then configure that account in Outlook 2010 to collect them again. You can then choose to continue with that email address and account or configure your own account move the emails and then remove the IMAP account you used for the transfer.
