How to Extract Text from Word Document ?

Hi Friends I am trying to extract specific text from word document based on coordinates i have been searching many sites on this requirement but no luck. How to set the coordinates to the word document text ? if any one know about this could you share the answer. Regards Nanda Kishore.CH

You might need to use OCR features to recognize text from pre-defined areas or zones on the image. I am using OCR engine from leadtools (development toolkit) to recognize text from images. They support loading Word documents as raster images with different resolutions.
