How to import excel to datagrid in silverlight

Question

Hi I am new to Silverlight. i have installed silverlight in vs 2008. is it possible to import excel and bind it any grid in silverlight. i dont find automation factory option in the silverlight even though i include the interoper. Please suugest me how can i do this. Thanks in advance.

Hi 1.Enable the Application as Out-Of Browser setting to true.And also mark the Require elevated trust When running outside the browser. 2.Make one class name as ExportExcelClassWith the help of this class we create Excel Application. Use 'using System.Runtime.InteropServices.Automation' this namespace in class. dynamic excel = AutomationFactory.CreateObject(Excel.Application); Please check attached file. Hope this will help you.
