How to make installer to install DirectX?

Question

I want to know how to make installer which not only checks whether DirectX is installed if yes then which version if not then install Direct X in my system.Earlier I did the same for .Net framework using WIX bootstrapper and that is working fine.But I am really confuse for Direct X.

This code will provide me the version of direct x which will installed by default with Windows OS or .net framework.but the directx will not be visible in programs and features of control panel.I want the version if direct x is installed either manually including all its supported Dll's. and is visible in program and features or by any other source except by default.

Tried and tested You can use the following code for getting the Direct X Version but its bit slow you need to wait after running the code..
