How to retain textbox values after post back in mvc

Question

I have a strongly type view and in which i have four textboxes and this view is strongly typed view i am using textboxfor(model.property) when i click the submit button it clears the form i want to persists the form do not clear the textboxfor values how to acheive that i mvc.

If you still want to stick with initial design removed the location.href='/'; because the page should not redirect back to index and remain on the page. if (n == 3) { return Content(  alert('Message does not Send Successfully due to invalid credentials !');  ); } However I like the changes that you had made using TempData[Success]

instead of showing Success or Failure message via javascript i used tempdata in myview as @if (TempData[Success] != null) { @TempData[Success] } My controller is just setting if (n == 3) { TempData[Success] = Message does not Send Successfully due to invalid credentials.; }
