How to use it on a simple Lan network?

Hi Sirs!

I am developing a stock and accounting management system (Desktop application). But I would like to know something very capital for me.
This system should work on a simple Lan network. But I would like to know if I should add in my "solution explorer" the app_config to configure correct the path to allow users to work on the system properly? Or there is another way.
Please I will use a simple local network then if someone can explain me. Maybe to show me a link that explain it step by step.

I would like to knwo if I put this line of my code on my local networt path to hit my database on my server. Its will work perfectly. For esample I can save delete update make record's search etc... from a client? string connstr = Data Source=localhost\sqlexpress;Initial Catalog=master;Integrated Security=True;

EXACTLY Sumit! I would like to say desktop application installed on desktops and hit DB which is centralized? Then desktops sharing the same Database at the same time...

For desktop application running over LAN? I'm confused. Do you mean desktop application installed on desktops and hit DB which is centralized? Why app_config is bothering you? App_Config is convention to store your config files and access via application. Thnx! my twitter handler @sumitjolly
