How to use javascript method globally in entire project

Hi I want to use javascript for client side validation for server controls how to use all the validation(nonemptyonly charonly int....) with textboxes and how to create validation functions globlly used in my entire projects. and how to call this methods and which event please give me example for that

Try to create a script(.js) file which will hold all type of your validation. Then in the page header of aspx try to refer that script file. Then in the controls you want to validate use the corresponding java script function.
