I want to learn and develop Azure Services

Question

Hi Everyone I hope you all are doing well. I am a .Net developer with 3 years of experience. As per technology updates i also willing to learn new things like Azure . I got there is the huge demand of Azure. So i want to add some skills of Azure in my resume. So can anyone guide me that from where i should start? Any good resource to learn ? Can i create Azure environment on local machine to learn things ? Thank You with regards Parminder Pal Singh

Cannot answer all your questions. Few months back I was feeling same as you are now and (unfortunately) haven't done anything so far. And I still don't know where to begin and what to do exactly. Anyway. First Microsoft Azure is a cloud offering. Which means there is nothing like 'local machine'. It is loosely equivalent of saying 'can i have a local copy of Internet?'. So everything is on the Internet and a good connection is mandatory. Second technically 'nothing is free' with Azure. Each service is being charged on 'pay as you go' plan. When you are fully prepared for it you may visit https://www.visualstudio.com/dev-essentials/ login and opt for 1 year Azure trial with USD 25/- credit each month. There are several other benefits which you can enjoy. Hi Parminder I would personally suggest you to take a look over here https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/ https://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/cloud-platform/ After that please register yourself with outlook and Hotmail account and do some practical stuff at Azure Portal. You would get USD 200 or 250 credit to play around. It would certainly going to enhance length and breadth of your knowledge around Modern Cloud Computing. You would get every month credit say USD 25 later on. It would give you base to start. -DK
