Image Question

Question

Hello I am working on getting and image to display in a form. I know how to search the harddisk and filter types and select the image I want to show but I just dont know how to display it or what all goes into displaying an image. Could anyone show me a very basic code that displays and image on a form from a path on the harddrive? I can take it from there. Thanks alot!

Thanks again I am messing around with it and making a slide show. Now here is a harder question. Is it possible to have my program look into an online directory that has images get and store the links of the type I would like in an array list or something and then display said images in my program. I have already found out C# can display direct links to online images but how do I go about searching an online folder for images just like I can search a folder on my computer for images? Thanks!

You need to use a picture box control as a container for your image pictureBox1.SizeMode = PictureBoxSizeMode.StretchImage; pictureBox1.ImageLocation = @F:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\My Pictures\Sample Pictures\Water lilies.jpg;
