Import Outlook mac archive files in Windows Outlook

Question

Hello Everyone I am trying to import my outlook mac archive files in windows outlook 2013. But these seems to be some issue as I follow the import export giuide there is no option to select the file format of the apple mail archive files. Is this an outlook error or there is other ways to perform these kind of imports. Please help me with this procedure. Thanks

Check the file format of your outlook mac archived files. They must be .OLM. This file format is not supported by Outlook for windows while .PST file format is supportive in windows outlook. SO what you can do is convert OLM files to PST format and import easily your outlook mac archive files in windows outlook. For this conversion you need olm to pst converter application available online. Here is one I am aware of and have used personally: OLM to PST Converter For safety first test the tool by downloading its trial version and after satisfactory confirmation of its proper working go for the full version. As your emails are the more important than these tools to be risked for. Hope this helps.

Outlook mac email archives are not compatible with windows outlook as windows outlook only supports pst email database format. However this conversion requires a third party utility as microsoft does not support moving emails from mac to windows outlook and the application intended for this purpose are paid applications. I would suggest you to try a few of these utilities available online and see which one works best for you. The one which worked for me was OLM to PST Converter Pro

Thank you Tony and Elan for describing the whole phenomenon of migrating the files and also the tool mentioned has functioned properly for my mail data. I have successfully transferred all my data from outlook 2011 for mac to windows outlook. Thanks once again for the support.

Sorry but this tool was nowhere near my expectations of functioning. First of all it was never compatible for mac and secondly it didn't have any guide to perform the operations. A thumbs down from my side.
