Installing Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 on to the same machine

Friends I need a solution for my problem. I have Windows 7 installed in one system i want to install Windows Server 2008 R2 as well to the same system. Can some one provide me some exact steps on how to do that in detail. i was trying to get some links but nothing provides clear idea..

The issue was with the BIOS... Now i made some changes with the configuration of the Virtualization enabling and its working fine... I installed Win Server 2008 R2 succesfully... I will post an article on the step by step process so that it will be useful for others as well...

I get below error when installing Win server 2008 R2 in virtual box using the document which is attached... Please help me on this VT-Xx/AMD-V hardware acceleration has been enabled but is not operational. Your 64-bit guest will fail t detect a 64-bit CPU and will not be able to boot Please ensure that you have enabled VT-x/AMD-V properly in the BIOS of your host computer

You my install Oracle VM VirtualBox from here. http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/server-storage/virtualbox/downloads/index.html And can use ISO to install Win 2008 R2 in this VM. I have done the same thing. I have Win 7 64 bit on my laptop and Installed Win 2008 R2 on Virtual Box. You may use attached document for your reference you may skip the software you don't want to install. This pdf provides very nice steps to install Win 2008 R2 on VirtuaBox.

Thanks... i have done that using the OS DVD... but i have an ISO image now... is there any way i can use it directly or i need to create a DVD for this again and use it ?

I assume you know to set up windows 7 or xp or vista or any os. How do you do. It is by setting your pc bootup from cd right? Same thing you have to do for this. Put the other Operating System cd. Do dedicate a separate hard drive spice. It is ike if you have C:\for windows xp then allocate any other drive apart from C: to install your new OS. On another note you can install both OS on C: but i wud advice not to do as your primary partition will become clogged. Regards Praneeth
