Is it neccessary to have a .net framework on Client machine to run activeX control in webpage?

Hello all I have created One ActiveX control (DLL file ) in C#.Net and want to use it on webpage. I dont know whether it is neccessary that to insatll .Net framework on client machine to view the ActiveX control???

As it's not possible to write unmanaged applications or controls using C# then yes the .NET framework will need to be installed on the client machine in order to run it. To avoid this you would need to re-author the control in unmanaged C++ or VB6.
