adding dropdownlist to datagrid

hi i want help on adding a dropdownlist in a datagrid when it is in edit mode and a way to populate it from the database. thank u in advance abhijit

By adding a template column you can add dropdown list in datagrid. and for binding drop down from database you have two ways. 1).make an asp:sqldatasource and pass its id to ur dropdown list datasource id properties. 2).fill dropdown list in rowdatabound event.which get execute after binding the grid.
