Lable Control

Question

Can someone point me in the direction where I can find out to databind and populate a lable control? I have a webform that serves as a login to an application. The user submitts his/hers employee number which is forwarded to a profile page. On this profile page are lables that contain pre-existing data concerning the employees profile from a profile db. I have been searching for a tutorial in C# to complete this to no avail. Please help. Thank you. Sincerely, Tim

The order of sequence is that the data posted from the profile page will then be visible in the timesheet application through the use of the label controls. I was just thinking that I could carryover the contents of the form from profile into the timesheet page via an @request command or something. If not then I guess I could query the db against the id of the user once the profile is submitted however I would also guess that the id variable would need to be chached and requested as well. Does this make sense. I am sorry if not. I have the flu at the moment and perhaps not making my point clear. Regards Tim

I suggest you use datagrid. It's a lot more flexible. Use System.Data.DataTable. :)

What are you going to use to store the information?? sql server access xml or ??
