Mmm.. Lot of childs (Controls) in MDI... Try this in your Form Load (or) MdiForm Contructor after Component Initialization call: // Stop the flicker SetStyle ( ControlStyles . DoubleBuffer  true); SetStyle ( ControlStyles . AllPaintingInWmPaint  true);
