Meta Tags on asp.net page

Question

I've been doing some reading regarding meta tags but still have questions unanswered

1 - What are the character limits?
Some sites recommend
•Page title – 70 characters
•Meta description – 160 characters
•Meta keywords – No more than 10 keyword phrases

2 - Can you have Description and Keywords in two different languages in the same tag?
Could not find the answer for that.

3 - Where to put it? On the page itself or on Master Page?
Page would give me more choices to describe each page individually however I have notice viewing the page source that the tags are inserted somewhere I the middle (e.I. past master page details) and I am not sure if the search engines scan each page that far to get to my tags.

hi crown clit.... 1. As SEO based some website recommend you are right . page title should be length of 55 to 60 character and meta description length 140 character. 2. i think it's possible may be no problem occur because in SEO does not matter which language written your code. Because after the Rendering code convert in HTML format. HTML is equal to all language. 3. I am not sure but i think page itself is better then master page. suppose your master page used in around 50 pages so how to put huge of Description in SEO don't like this. this is my personal view...don't be consider if may i wrong .
