.Net Developer 5 years and 10 Months of experience

Question

I am .Net Developer having 5 years and 10 Months of experience and having package of 5 L/A, which is very less as compare to my friends having same experience.
I am working in the same organization from last 3 years. What should I do?

Better to try for another better offer. This will help to know your market value to know the market requirement and you can gain more knowledge also from the new interview questions. After getting new opportunity with good package check the new company details from http://www.glassdoor.com/ or any other sources. If new company also good then tell to your boss if he want to give the same package you can stay in the same company or you can shift to new company. Nothing to lose when you try for other offer.

Hi Yogesh you should consider your Job environment onsite opportunities job safety scope of learning and many other things last but not least you should consider your take home also not only package. Actually You had nearly 6 years experience so you can get more than current package that is completely based on your skill sets and company which you are working. So consider all the factors and try for better package. All the best :)

Thanks for your reply... In my current organization I have job security full freedom to use any resources(Software tools and servers) and flexible timings... I am getting continuously excellent rating from last two years but there is only bands 3-6-9 % of increment as per your ratings so it makes not much difference. Net take home is also not that good(36K/Month)... So is it better to switch the organization or wait for something good to be happen over here???
