Only Date Update

Question

I have ASP.net project with Sql data base. One of table that included Serious of Date Like. 1/1/2011 , 2/1/2011, 3/1/2011 ................ (Month/Date/Year) Type. I want to Update the only date like 1/16/2011, 2/16/2011, 3/16/2011 ..........

So how I Update only date Serious of date in Asp.net & Sql Application.

Please kindly help me immediately.

If you only want to update dates in 2011 which are the 16th day of the month then you'll need to include this WHERE clause in your UPDATE command ('mydate' is the name of the column): WHERE DATEPART(day mydate) = 16 AND DATEPART(year mydate) = 2011 The following slightly briefer clause should also work: WHERE DAY(mydate) = 16 AND YEAR(mydate) = 2011
